Hi, I’m Sheima
I hold a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina Honors College. After working as a teacher and tutor in various fields, I earned my Master's degree in Counselor Education in 2007. I have over 20 years of experience in tutoring, and over 10 years of experience in counseling.

People learn at their own pace. I evaluate each client and adjust my tutoring strategy to produce the highest results. I guarantee I'll help you catch up or even get ahead. Tutoring is online via Zoom. Each session costs $25 per hour.
My Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can learn. By meeting students where they are, and breaking down concepts into smaller parts, I build students’ self confidence. No question is stupid, and every student has strengths. I celebrate the small victories and point out each student’s strengths. I believe in patience, empathy, respect, cheerfulness, and persistence in teaching. I will help students to discover the natural learners that they really are.
